Shekhar Tiwari has been a senior operating executive, corporate development
advisor, entrepreneur, political activist, and poet. As a senior operating
executive, he served three blue-chip companies: American Telephone and
Telegraph (AT&T), IBM, and MCI. As a corporate development advisor, advised
the CEO and Board of Directors of Deutsche Telecom, Germany; France
Telecom, Paris; and NTT, Japan. He co-founded Sonodyne Corporation, a
consumer electronics company in Calcutta; and Indiverse Private Ltd, a
broadband entertainment company in New Delhi; MXC Inc, an internet Quality
of Service company in Maryland; Cyberforce in Virginia; and American Biofuel
in New Jersey.
As a political activist, he co-founded Overseas Friends of BJP with Dr. Mukund
Moody, the United States India Security Forum (USISF) with Dr. Rajesh Kadin
and Narismha Reddy, and the American Hindu Coalition (AHC), a bi-partisan
political group with Harsh Sethi. He is a lifelong poet who published many
poems and a poetry book.
He holds A BS in Electronics and Comminutions from BIT Sindri and an MS
degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, New Jersey. He was
born in Kairia, Bihar, and lives in Oak Hill, Virginia.
